Three years ago, following a trip to Ireland, Jerry and Sue Enos introduced St. Croix to Finnegan’s Wake, a Traditional Irish Band that was formed at Enos' request. Since their first visit in 2004, the group has returned each year to entertain Irish music lovers. They promised their Crucian fans at the end of their 2005 tour that they would produce a CD and they kept that promise during their 2006 tour.
Recording the new CD to be first released here on St. Croix (St. Croix Tour 2006) has given the lads an opportunity to choose their favorite ballads and tunes and produce a disc which they are proud of. The CD contains a beautiful balance of fast tunes and soothing melodies. It sold quite well during the 2006 tour and is still available locally by contacting St. Croix Happenings. The CD retails for $15.00. In addition to recording their first CD, each of the band members have been quite busy between the 2005 and 2006 tours.
The boys are looking forward to returning to Paradise in 2007 and hope that everyone on St. Croix will attend at least one of their dates, as well as enjoy the music on their first CD

Billy Allen has been in great demand since returning from St. Croix last year. Bill has toured with the band, as well as being involved in recording projects with other traditional groups. Bill features on several tunes recorded on the Finnegan’s Wake CD and some of the new rhythms he’s been experimenting with have added a new dimension to the finished product. Bill recently had the pleasure of performing with Peter Corry and Mal Cush in a charity fundraising event and has enjoyed the sessions played during the wedding gigs.
